Utility Report lets authorized reviewers from utility programs access your site’s charging data to evaluate eligibility and compliance with their incentive requirements. Each utility program may request different types of data — for example, NYSERDA may require energy use or charger reports, while SCE may request session or interval reports.
If your site is enrolled in a utility incentive program, you can use this feature to give the program access to the charging data they need — directly through EV OS. Reviewers would only have access to the utility report, no other data is shared. This helps streamline the evaluation process and ensures the required data is delivered efficiently.
Permission Required
To view or make changes in Utility Report, a user must have both View and Edit permissions enabled for this feature. Without these permissions, users won’t be able to access the report list or associate sites with utility programs.
Associating Sites with Utility Programs
When creating a site, you’ll be prompted to select the program it’s associated with. For more details on how to create a site, refer to this article.
To associate an existing site with a program:
- From the side menu, go to Report > Utility Report.
- Select Edit Program Settings, then select a Program Type.
- Select the site(s) you want to associate or dissociate from the program.
Once a site is successfully associated with a program, it will appear in the Report List in Utility Report.
