This article is for setting up "master key card" RFIDs that work on sites and chargers you own. To set up RFIDs that are bound to a Noodoe driver account, log in to the app and add the card under Profile > Noodoe Cards and Plans.

CPOs/Admins can assign RFID Cards to individual chargers and/or sites, for RFID authentication without a payment request. 

What to know about RFIDs and Noodoe EV OS

• To work with EV OS, RFID Cards must be a Noodoe Card that looks like the image below. To purchase RFIDs, email techsupport@noodoe.com with the Subject RFID Purchase Request and the number of RFIDs you would like to order.
• Charging stations must be equipped with an RFID reader and be set to read in big endian format.

Adding an RFID Card

Navigate to "RFID List" under the "RFID Management" tab on the left pane of EV OS.

Click "Add RFID" on the upper right-hand side.

Type in the RFID number you would like to activate. This is found below the QR code on the back of the RFID card. Then click "Create" to populate the card.

REMINDER: RFID Cards must be a "Noodoe Card" that looks like the image in the beginning of the article. Noodoe does not currently support 3rd-party RFID cards.

Adding Multiple RFID Cards (Bulk Import)

Click "Import" in the upper right-hand side of the "RFID List" page.

You can now drag the list of RFIDs into EV OS or browse for the correct file. The CSV template for the RFID list can also be downloaded on this page.

NOTE: The bulk list of RFID numbers must be arranged in the format below with RFID numbers starting in the second row.

Once uploaded, the file name and size will be shown as added. Click "Import".

If any numbers are invalid or already in use, you will see them on the following page. Click "Confirm" to add RFID Cards.

Assigning RFID Cards

Once cards have been added to the list using the methods above, you can assign RFID Cards to specific sites or stations. The "Card Status" will show as "Unassigned" until the RFID Card has been assigned to any sites or chargers, and will not work on any chargers.

To edit assignment, click the pencil icon on the right side of each number.

Toggle the "Assign specific sites and chargers" button on to activate, then select the sites and chargers where the RFID can activate chargers. Click "Update" when complete.
