An Access code is a type of Charging Code that allows site owners to offer users free access to charging stations. Access codes can be applied to both app and mobile web interfaces, and there is no limit to the number of times an access code can be used.
The key benefit of an access code is the ability to share it among any users, whether they are guests or customers. Users do not need an account or app to take advantage of the access code.
Follow the steps below to create an access code:
1. Navigate to Site Directory via the side menu.
2. Select a Site, and click Entry Settings.
2. Go to the Charging Code tab, select Enabled, and then click Save.
3. Once enabled, the Access Code settings will appear. First, enter the 10-digit access code number. Then, create a code label to help identify the access code.
As a site owner, sessions using the access code are stored as historical data. These data can be analyzed for planning future operations.
