Logging into the charger
Step 1
Wi-Fi method:
Connect to the Wi-Fi source the station is broadcasting. The Wi-Fi name and password are based on the serial number of the unit, which can be found on a sticker on the right hand side of the station. The Wi-Fi SSID/name will be "IC80A"+the serial number, & the default password will be the serial number+"@IC80A”.
For example, if the model serial number is:
- EX-1193-1A13-1-1234-2444
The SSID name would be:
- IC80AEX-1193-1A13-1-1234-2444
And the password would be:
- EX-1193-1A13-1-1234-2444@IC80A.
Ethernet Method:
Refer to section 5.1.2 / page 31 in the user manual.
NOTES:
- The name & password are both case sensitive, so it is recommended to type the serial number down & copy / paste it as necessary to avoid small errors.
- Your device will likely mention this connection has no internet, that is intended as your connection is local only.
Step 2
Ensure your TCP/IP settings on your computer are configured for automated IPv4 Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP).

- Ethernet method: 169.254.XXX.XXX - differs per unit, refer to user manual.
Step 4

Performing the Firmware Update
Once logged into the web portal for the AC19L Exceed, navigate through the following:
- Select Maintenance on the left
- Select Choose File under the firmware upgrade section, and select your firmware file - start a ticket to receive the most up to date firmware. Do not unzip the file, select it as is.
- Upload - If connected using the Wi-Fi method, it is recommend to stay near the station while uploading to avoid any data loss which might require you to re apply the upgrade.
- After the firmware upgrade is complete, the station will reboot & you will be prompted to log back in.
You can confirm the firmware upgrade was successful by navigating to Configuration on the left hand side, then Factory Settings. The Firmware Version listed under this section should match the file you uploaded earlier.
