Offline Charging

Zerova stations can be configured for "Offline charging" using a toggle in their web portal config. This method will completely bypass software authorization, meaning no data or payment processing will occur for sessions completed with this method. Once you plug in, the charger will attempt to charge shortly thereafter.

Connecting to the Web Portal

To configure offline charging you will need to connect to the web portal for your station. You can read more on connecting to the web portal for Zerova stations here.

Navigating to the Free Vend Option

Once you have logged into the web portal, you should arrive at this screen under Set, and System.

From there, you will expand the System Information tab, and navigate down to Authentication. Setting it to enable will default to requiring authorization, and setting it to disable will bypass any authorization which will allow offline free charging.

Once you have set your preference, make sure you scroll to the bottom and select Set to apply your changes.
