By turning on the Show on map toggle under a site's Site Directory page > App Settings tab, you can list your station publicly on the Noodoe App. This also shares data with the Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC), which many other apps take advantage of.
If you notice your sites don't appear on public charging maps, this article explains some possible reasons why.
Alternative Fuels Data Center
Noodoe EV OS is integrated with the Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC) to share location information about publicly available stations. The AFDC provides a public API that a variety of other apps take advantage of to show station information and locations to drivers. You can view the AFDC map here.
Google Maps / Apple Maps
Google Maps and Apple Maps include charging stations through manual or periodic data submissions from network operators or third-party providers. Unlike OCPI-integrated platforms, these maps rely on updates provided by operators, which may result in less frequent or real-time data compared to more specialized charging platforms.
PlugShare
PlugShare is a crowd-sourced mapping platform that allows anyone to list, post photos and review stations. Noodoe is not directly integrated with PlugShare. If your station is not visible, you can add a station anytime.
Chargeway
Chargeway is a mobile app that helps drivers find compatible EV stations. It receives station data from operators through OCPI, ensuring your stations on Noodoe are displayed on its map for users to easily locate.
Hubject
Hubject is an interoperability platform that connects multiple charging networks. Your station data is shared with Hubject through OCPI integration, enabling your stations on Noodoe to appear on their global network of platforms and apps, providing greater visibility to EV drivers.
Wex
WEX is a payment and station locator platform for EV drivers. They receive station information from network operators via OCPI, ensuring your Noodoe stations are visible to users who need to find and pay for charging sessions.
