In Noodoe EV OS, user access is managed through Accounts and Roles.
An Account represents an individual user who can log in to EV OS.
A Role defines the permissions assigned to that user, determining what actions they can perform within the system.
In other words:
- Account → the user who logs in to EV OS
- Role → the set of permissions assigned to that user
When should I create a Role or Account?
You may need to create roles or accounts in situations such as:
- Adding a new team member who needs access to EV OS
- Assigning different permission levels to users (for example, administrators or operators)
- Managing access for multiple users within your organization
When adding a new user in EV OS, you typically create an account first and then assign a role to define that user's permissions.
These features are commonly used by CPOs (Charging Point Operators) or resellers, who manage users and system access in EV OS.
