Enjoy the next-level convenience with Plug-n-Charge. All you need to do is plug in your electric vehicle, and the charging session starts automatically—no apps, cards, or extra steps needed. It's simple, seamless and saves you time, so you can focus on your journey.
Before You Start
Not every vehicle or charging station is compatible with the Plug-n-Charge feature. Here are a few things to check before setting up.
- Make sure your vehicle supports ISO 15118 protocol.
- Check the station compatibility. While DC stations support Plug-n-Charge, AC stations' compatibility is slowly growing.
- Ensure the software of your vehicle stays up to date.

Pro Tips: Set Default Vehicle
You can select your default vehicle for charging sessions in the My Vehicles tab. If no vehicles are on your list, the first vehicle you add will become the new default. If you do not want Plug-n-Charge to be your default charging experience, add a vehicle that does not have the feature enabled and set it as the default.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is Plug-n-Charge?
Plug-n-Charge is a new feature from Noodoe that allows you to start charging without an app or RFID card. Simply activate the Plug-n-Charge feature, plug in your vehicle, wait no more than 15 seconds, and watch the charging session start automatically! This feature works with CCS-compliant vehicles but may not be supported by all adaptors.
Why do I have to start a charging session to activate Plug-n-Charge?
Plug-n-Charge integrates AutoCharge technology. Following one app-activated session to obtain your vehicle’s unique ID (Mac Address/EVCCID), Plug-n-Charge will automatically start subsequent vehicle charging sessions.
Are all EVs compatible with the Plug-n-Charge feature?
The integrated AutoCharge technology uses unique identifiers (e.g., VIN/Mac Address) to recognize vehicles and bind them to accounts. Some vehicles do not support Plug-n-Charge at this time.
Why can’t my EV use Plug-n-Charge?
Some vehicles don’t support the identification technology required to utilize Plug-n-Charge. If your vehicle activation was unsuccessful, please try again or contact Noodoe customer service: support@noodoe.com
How do I deactivate/delete Plug-n-Charge for my EV?
Open the Noodoe app and select My Vehicles under Profile. Edit your chosen vehicle to deactivate Plug-n-Charge. You can reactivate the feature in the future if you change your mind.
Can I keep my membership with Plug-n-Charge?
Yes. Valid Noodoe membership plans will be prioritized as the default payment method. To avoid this, you can temporarily deactivate Plug-n-Charge and charge by scanning the QR code with the Noodoe app.
Why doesn’t Plug-n-Charge work on my charger?
First, ensure the charging station supports Plug-n-Charge. Second, make sure you have linked a valid credit card to your account. If the above does not solve the issue, reach out to Noodoe customer service at support@noodoe.com
What kind of EV charging station supports Plug-n-Charge?
Most DC charging stations with CCS connectors support Plug-n-Charge. Select the station in the Noodoe app map for station details.
How do I activate Plug-n-Charge for separate EVs?
Each EV has unique identifiers and must be activated separately. Once your vehicle’s information has been added under the My Vehicles tab, you can set up the Plug-n-Charge feature one by one.
Can Tesla EVs use the Plug & Charge feature?
Yes. Your Tesla will need a compatible adapter for CCS connectors if it has the standard NACS port, but it can initiate charging sessions with Plug-n-Charge. If your Tesla has CCS2 compatibility, you can activate Plug-n-Charge without additional adapters.
