Offline Charging
LiteOn stations can be configured for Offline Charging using a Plug and Charge ID in their web portal. This method will completely bypass software authorization, meaning no data or payment processing will occur for sessions using this method.
Configuring Offline Charging
Connecting to the Web Portal
To configure offline charging you will need to connect to the web portal for your station. You can read more on connecting to the web portal for LiteOn stations here.
Navigating to the Plug and Charge ID
Once you have logged into the web portal, you will be presented with the Configuration and Factory Settings tab. Clicking on Station Settings under Configuration will bring up the following screen. On this page you can change the Plug and Charge ID property of the charger to 12345678. Click the Apply button to the bottom right side after the value has been changed.
Configuration > Station Settings > Plug and Charge ID > 12345678
Plug and Charge ID – If the field is empty, the station will attempt to reach our server to authorize a charge. If the field has 8 digits it will default to bypass authorization and allow free charging.
