General SIM Installation Notes
When installing a SIM card it is best practice to power the equipment off before handling or replacing the SIM. While some hardware can automatically detect the APN for a SIM, that is not always the case. Listed below is a table for the APN which varies by carrier for our provider. You can think of the APN as a passcode for connecting to the carrier.
Carrier | APN |
AT&T (US) | iot.kore.com |
T-Mobile (US) | c2.korem2m.com |
Verizon (US) | wyleslte.gw7.vzwentp |
Rogers (CA) | apn.zerogravitywireless.com |
Telus (CA) | m2m.telus.iot |
Installing SIM Cards in a Gateway or Router
To access the router you will need to remove the gateway chassis.
From there, you can access the SIM from the router. Our updated routers should be able to automatically detect the APN from your SIM, but if they do not for any reason you can refer to the APN chart above, or reach out to technical support for further assistance.
Installing SIM Cards in a Station
The SIM slot position and web portal configuration steps vary by manufacturer, and occasionally by model. You can find more details on accessing and removing the SIM at our download database here. For accessing the web portal to adjust SIM settings, you can view more details on Zerova stations here, and LiteOn stations here.
