RED Flicker for 3 sec (on/off 0.2s or 0.5s) |
RFID Authorization Failed or Handshake Timeout |
- Invalid RFID Card or number.
- insufficient RFID card balance
- Backend communication or authorization failed.
- RFID card reader is broken or the following reasons:
- Did not plug the charging connector into the vehicle within 180 seconds
- EV does not allowed charging.
|
Solution1:
- For the charger that does not have internet connectivity: Please tap the card reader with the RFID card for 3 seconds or get a valid RFID card.
- For the charger that has internet connectivity: Please top up your RFID card if necessary. Reconnect to the internet.
- rewire the RFID reader (Note: Only qualified EV charger installers or electricians should perform the tests.)
- Please contact the Noodoe customer support team if the issue still exists
Solution 2:
- Please plug the charging connector into the vehicle within 180 sec after tapping the RFID card or plug the charging connector into the vehicle first then tap the RFID card.
- It might be the electric vehicle does not allow charging., lease reset the Battery Management System.
- Please refer to the charging settings and instructions in the owner's manual of your electric vehicle.
- Unplug the charging plug and restart the charger if the issue still exists.
- If the electric vehicle is still not allowed to charge, please contact the electric vehicle service center for help.

RED Flicker continuously (on/off 0.2s or 0.5s) |
Invalid Rotary Switch Setting or Control Pilot Error |
Invalid current Setting on the rotary switch or 1. Charger cannot enter the charging state in time after starting the charging process. 2. Control Pilot signal does not meet specification. |
Note: Only qualified EV charger installers or electricians should perform the tests below: Solution 1:
- Please Turn off the charging station.
- Open the cover of the charging station to reset the rotary switch.(Please refer to the photo below). Turn on the charging station and start the charging process again.
Solution 2:
- Please Restart the charging station or the electric vehicle.
Unplug the charging connector, and start the charging process again.
- Please refer to the charging settings and instructions in the owner's manual of your electric vehicle. (Drive the car away for a few miles and back to the charger, then start the charging process again or try another charger.)
- Please contact the Noodoe customer support team if the issue still exists.

1 RED flash, goes off for 3 seconds and repeats |
AC input Over Voltage Protection |
Meter detected a voltage value exceeding the maximum voltage value defined in the specification. |
Note: Only qualified EV charger installers or electricians should perform the tests below:
- Please turn off the breaker switch in the switchboard and measure the input voltage of the circuit breaker. If the voltage exceeds the specification value (265Vac), Please wait for the transmission voltage to return to normal or contact the local electricity company.
- When the input voltage is less than the specification value (275Vac), turn on the AC input and restart the charging station.
- Please contact the Noodoe customer support team if the issue still exists.
|
2 RED flash, goes off for 3 seconds and repeats |
AC input Under Voltage Protection |
Meter detected a voltage value below the minimum voltage value defined in the specification. |
Note: Only qualified EV charger installers or electricians should perform the tests below:
- Please turn off the breaker switch in the switchboard and measure the input voltage of the circuit breaker.
- If the voltage is lower than the specification value (190 Vac), Please wait for the transmission voltage to return to normal or contact the local electricity company.
- If the input voltage is not lower than the specification (190Vac) please check if there's any damage caused by a loose connection or insufficient power capacity (please contact power supply company)
- When the input voltage is within the specification range, please push the circuit breaker in the switchboard from bottom to top to restart the charging station.
- Please contact the Noodoe customer support team if the issue still exists.
|
3 RED flash, goes off for 3 seconds and repeats |
AC output Over Current Protection |
Meter detected output current value exceeding the maximum current value defined in the specification. |
Note: Only qualified EV charger installers or electricians should perform the tests below:
- Please Use the current meter to measure L or N Line. If the output current of the electric vehicle exceeds 32A, please contact the electric vehicle service center for help.
- If the output current of the electric vehicle does not exceed 32A, please unplug the charging connector, and restart the charging process again.
- Unplug the charging plug and restart the charger if the issue still exists
- Please contact the Noodoe customer support team if the error code still exists
|
4 RED flash, goes off for 3 seconds and repeats |
Ambient/inlet Over Temperature Protection |
Meter detected a temperature exceeding the maximum temperature defined in the specification |
Note: Only qualified EV charger installers or electricians should perform the tests below:
- Please Lower the ambient temperature of the charger
- Please check if any components of the charger are overheated
- Reconnect the temperature sensor wires.
- Unplug the charging plug and restart the charger if the issue still exists
- Please contact the Noodoe customer support team if the error code still exists
|
5 RED flash, goes off for 3 seconds and repeats |
RCD/CCID Trip |
leakage circuit detected a leakage current value exceeding the maximum leakage current value defined in the specification |
Note: Only qualified EV charger installers or electricians should perform the tests below:
- Check the grounding wire between the EVSE and the power panel.
- Unplug the charging plug of the charger and restart the charger if this occurs before charging.
- Plug the charging connector into the vehicle and start the charging process.
- If happened during charging, the leakage current of the electric vehicle might be higher than the specification (eg. more than 20mA). Please refer to the charging settings and instructions in the owner's manual of your electric vehicle. (Drive the car away for a few miles and back to the charger, then start the charging process again or try another charger.)
- Please contact the Noodoe customer support team if the error code still exists
